..water evaporates much lower than 100 degrees unpressurised. think your getting confused with boiling point.

my water temp (rev3) sits at 80 degrees, if it rises in ques my fan controller cuts in, never goes above 83. saying that, my old rev2 used to sit at 96 degrees. oil cant really be compared with mine as i have an external cooler, generally sits at 80 degrees, but booting it in the hot days it goes up...

thanks highwaystar, something worth keeping an eye on. mike, tbh i cant be bothered trying to source springs, i did notice buddyclub do them for nissan fairlady rear in 3k . maybe they would be ok for the front of mine then i put my 6K mr2 fronts on the rear BUT it is a maybe. its money i dont want ...

basically im wanting to swap my buddyclub coilovers out for something still low, but a bit softer so im thinking yellow billies and tein springs. can anyone give me an idea on what the ride is like? my buddyclubs have 6k springs front and 10k springs rear according to their website :shock: just goin...

ive used them... just dont ask for stickers to be laquered into the finish , causes a load of ball ache.

theres g max too. i had them on my old astra and rover coupe. the springs were not low enough on either of those cars though.

it can varies on temp and oil type, ie. you'd see lower pressures with say 5w30 than you would with 10w 40. i use 5w 40 and i get 6.5-7 bar on cold start up 6.5-7 bar warm with high revs (about 6k+ rpm) and about 2.2 bar on warm idle. one bar does seem a little low but iirc, its at about 4 psi press...

that i realise, but what im thinking is, if mike doesnt get it with his open filter then maybe the position of entry point could help playing a part in muting it.
ie, the air gets sucked into the turbo rather than escape the other end making the noise..?
