Is your car an everyday car ? Or could you use a limited mileage policy ?

Re: Finally decided on colour for car,
Not managed to take any good shots yet, when I got it home I quickly took the pics in this thread. I'm gonna send it back to the bodyshop to have the front number plate holes filled and painted, and then relocate the front bumper to in front of the rad. I took these a couple of days after the ones a...

Re: Finally decided on colour for car,
I know this is a horribly boring thing to mention, but is this gonna be your everyday car ? If it is, then you should (yawn) give some consideration to the fact that your car will get scratched, dinged etc, and so you need to be able to repair your car and get it painted without repainting the whole...

Re: Hub nut won't budge !
Shouldn't use a torque wrench to undo stuff, you'll damage it and then it won't be accurate. Yeah I know, just using what was to hand - thanks anyway buddy, I'll give your suggestions a try at the weekend. hang on.... if you only want the discs off, you dont' need to remove the hub nut. The disks a...

Hub nut won't budge !
Hi all, Tried to remove my rear discs at the weekend, but do you think I could get the hubnut off  In the end, I had a torque wrench set to the hardest setting (200nm) and I was leaning on it hard, but it still wouldn't budge !!! Any suggestions ? I tried beer, this did help initally but still...

Re: Drivability of turbo's
Well, I have a 'dreaded' ditch bound Rev1, and I think it's great. I haven't owned an NA mk2 but I did have a UK Integra Type-R so I do understand about the power of an NA being higher up the rev range. It's all about getting used to the characteristics of a car, once you have put some time into lea...

Re: Silicone hose kits (Turbo - inlet piping)
Quick Q.
I have a std IC at the moment, but am looking for an aftermarket, probably Greddy. Can you use the std IC piping and 'adjust' it to fit the Greddy ?
Not sure it I should get the standard or aftermarket piping

Thanks for the replies.
So the Unichip is okay for a Rev 1 ? And what are the limitations of a Unichip, ie at what point will I want to upgrade ?
Cheers
Matt

Which piggyback for AFM Rev 1
Hi all, I know the 'which ECU' debate goes on, but I've done a few searches and can't see which is best to go for if you have a Rev 1. I have a rebuilt engine with forgies, steel HG etc and a Stage 5 CT26 from Owens (T4 comp. wheel and 8degree turbine trim), aswell as supporting mods. I chose the hy...

Re: Nengun Performance
So out of interest, lets say you order £600 worth of stuff from Nengun. The documentation is all legit and declares full value of the goods. You get picked up at customs. What are the charges ? VAT on the whole amount of 17½% ? What is the duty amount ? And what other charges\levies does this rip-of...

Re: can you "mend" a flexipipe ?
Definitely worth knowing mate =D> , my Blitz flexi section has hit the road a couple of times when my car was too low. It's now at a sensible height but I could do with repairing the flexi section.
Have to be 'next month' though, if you know what I mean
Cheers
