Re: [Mk1] [NA] cor blimey! check this out

Nice and mint, but cars are for driving.

If it had 80,000 on it then I'd be impressed with the owners efforts, but it doesn't take skill to buy car and then abandon it in the garage!

Re: [Mk2] [NA] what exhaust pipe?

The blueflame and Mongoose are very similar construction, except the tailpipe design. Once upon a time Blueflame used to make the mongoose, until a rift with Collins Performance and Blueflame over alleged quality. I purchased my Mongoose 7 years ago and it's still in extremely good condition. Sound ...

Awesome day out.. Many thanks to Scott for organising the day and inviting me back :D

The BBQ lighting saga was hilarious... From the matches that didn't strike to the inflammable lighter fluid but we got there in the end :thumleft:

Looking forward to the next event...is it JAE??

Took a trip today from Coventry to Chesterfield to see the folks. Filled to the brim at Tesco with their 97 octane, drove there, M6- M69- M1 at a steady 70mph apart from approx. 7 miles at 50mph threw road works. Arrived, 75 miles later, with the gauge just under full. Did return trip and the gauge...

Re: [Mk1] [NA] Child Car Seat Urgent Help Needed.

I used to run a Britax Renaissance and that fitted fine. On that basis, I would expect a Maxi Cosy Priory XP to fit (very similar design to the Renaissance.) If your worried by belt tensioning seats, you could look at the Britax Freeway or the Maxi Cosy Priory, as both of them use conventional webbi...

Re: Elite 'IMOC' Day - Sun 24th Feb **SE Meet** - special discounts arranged.

Anyone going from down South? Meet up at Clackett? I will be there on time this time, honest! Depending on how early you want to head out, we could meet at Tunbridge Wells and then head over to Scott's place. I know Scott wants to be there early, so I assume around around 8am meet at T Wells. Wait ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] those with oil pressure gauges??? what pressure you seeing????

FWIW I get 6 bar at start up at temps. When at 90-100C oil temp i get around 2 bar at idle.

Gauges are ludicrously priced Blitz AC's so would expect them to be accurate.

Gotta be an inaccurate reading Jim... surely.
