The rear subframe is a good place to support the car, isn't it.
Maybe I did make a xxxxx with supporting the car on the LCA's.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] A Tein SS Nightmare?

Yes, but on the rear it was fitted on the subframe! So that's safe. and the position of the lower arms. yeah.. maybe but it was in this position for maybe 3 -5 weeks. the strength the lower arm has to endure is not very different then it would get from te wheel.. only at another point and most of th...

Hi mike.

You need to rmove the roof interior parts aligned to the rear window
There I believe you see 4 or 6 nuts.. remove them :)

I just loosened the Arb.. in front, and dropped one link in the re. it's still xxxx... I'm gonna do one thing, that is change the springs from right to left. If the same problem occurs on the side I changed the spring with... then I know it's the spring. if that is nog the case.. what on earth can b...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] A Tein SS Nightmare?

The new drop links are only mounted for some weeks..maybe all together 2 months.. If the Arb is bent.. Í can check that by loosening the Drop links ( all 4 of them ) .. then the ride height on all wheels should be good.. right? By the way.. did this guy had the same problem as I have now? http://mr2...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] A Tein SS Nightmare?

can I have mounted the drop links wrong?

I mean.. that would be the only solution, next to the fact the there is a possibility that the ARB is bent.. but nothing happened in those 6 months that could explain such a thing

Re: [Mk2] [NA] A Tein SS Nightmare?

No I didn't do that.. The Tein SS set came with 2 drop links.. shiny ones. you see them on the picture in this thread. These ones need to be fitted on the front suspension right? The rear drop links needed to be renewed.. So I just ordered a set on ebay for the mr2. Can I ordered the wrong ones? Do ...

Re: teins

Thinking about this, maybe the shock on the side that is riding high is siezed/jammed/broken in the extended position, effectively 'jacking up' that side of the car. it would explain then why you get no response from adjusting the spring seats ? No.. it's fine. I took the front ones apart. and was ...

Re: teins

That's really strange... The shocks shouldn't really affect ride height once the car settles, after all, they just damp the sprng motion but should rest in any position. What's does the car sit like if you disconnect the front anti roll bar (don't attach the drop links) ? And with the shocks off th...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] A Tein SS Nightmare?

Hmm.. right. That's the problem.. I can adjust whatever I want.. the ride height is not affected.... Not only the case with the suspension that is to low... but the same for the 2 ones that are to high. They won't drop.. and the lower ones wont go up.. I understand the construction with the 2 green ...
