MR2 MK2 Anniversary restore, refresh &tasteful modification - project begins
OK, I have been kicking about IMOC for a while and know a few people including fellow MR2 enthusiast which are active on this forum and another one I am active on. I thought I should introduce the MR2 and share my progress. The MR2 was bought to replace my Gen 7 Celica GT which I owned for 3 years f...

Suspension gaiters - using steering gaiters, which ones please?
Hi All,
I have seen a post in the past but can not find it
I know you can use steering gaitors for the suspension gaitors to replace worn ones which are a fraction of Toyota OEM price.
Can anyone advise which steering gaitors they bought which did the job,
Thanks in advance
Mark

Re: Anybody got frame no for 10th anniversary model?
Now this put me in a dilemma I had decided to drop the Toyota badge for a cleaner look but some people are saying to keep it..... My decider was I could not source a genuine replacement anniversary badge so off it went and was set on this, it goes for pint in a few weeks.... ](*,) What to do.... #-o

Re: Anybody got frame no for 10th anniversary model?
I would be interested to know if this part number is a good one as I also tried to order a replacement anniversary bumper emblem and it turned up silver (annoying). Anyway rightly or wrongly I bought the paint and matched it to the rear, but now think I might get it removed when I get the car painte...

This is a superb example, I saw it at JAE last year and it looks even better in the flesh.
Dare I ask what plans are next?

I honestly can't see this being around long, for that money someone is getting a seriously nice car.
If I hadn't started on my anniversary project this would be right up my street
Best of luck with the sale, not sure you will need it though

Re: 10th Anniversary
You say it is a JDM, Is it a import? I read somewhere that the anniversary models sold in Japan are not numbered and don't have the part wooden steering wheel. The numbering was only for the UK market. Mine only has 3 owners and nearly all receipts from new but this is very low for a 16 year old car...

Not sure if it will help but saw a Rev 2 auto in white which I think has the same glass as yours in a breakers in Darlington, the breakers is called Green Street Salvage. The car was complete. Thought I would mention it in case your interested and can arrange a firm to remove it etc. Maybe your insu...

Show me your staggered rims / dished rims please?
Hi All,
Sorry if this has been posted many times,
I am looking at some 17" staggered rims. Now a new set of shiny rotas would be ideal but over my budget given the work I have elsewhere going on with the car.
Looking for ideas, guys... a chance to show your rims off

The car feels a lot better on stock wheels so I'm going back to that. Will prob refurb the wheels white.
Do you mind me asking where you sourced your drifz wheels from? have you had to have much work done to the rear arches to make them fit/not catch?
