That kit on the US demonstrator model was heavily modified, so whilst it was an "official kit" it actually looks very different to the official cars that were put together in Japan. The US kit was fitted by a private bodyshop and not by TRD themselves which is why there is so much differen...

People get sports cars for different reasons, some for performance and handling others purely for aesthetics.
