Re: Good deal ?

Pidge you should try Jonses at the bottom of cane hill just outside devizes - its not to far from Salisbury and they usually have a couple of mr2's in - give them a call first though just in case. Cheers mate I'll give them a call in the morning, will be with a trip out to see what parts I need. Do...

Re: Recommend a GPS Speedo?

I fit a snooper into my dash :thumleft: you can see it in the rhs Center air vent. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc15/pidge01/8f703cfa.jpg The air vents separate so you can still have one working one if you wanted. It's the right size and with 5 minutes of waiting for the hot glue to harden it'...

A bit more carbon and a wash!

My carbon bonnet arrived on Friday so yesterday I gingerly fitted my carbon bonnet catches and made the holes for the washer jets. Sadly mr dhl wasn't so gentle with it :( http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc15/pidge01/c8da0916.jpg With about an hour or so's work it's hard to tell it's there now :t...

Re: Hiroshima Powers MR2 is for sale.

Sorry for the thread revival but I just bought your carbon bonnet :thumleft:

Did the car get broken in the end then? I'm sure I have seen it at a few shows last year but maybe I was mistaken?

Light levels?

How do I adjust the Hightower the lights sit at? When they are closed the passenger is too low and sits lower than the bumper and bonnet and the drivers side is the opposite :(

Is there an adjuster screw anywhere? If not I guess I would have to bend the brackets so they fit better #-o

Re: More problems!

Cheers jase I'll have a look and see what I find but it could be there as the unlock on the central locking is a bit intermittent so maybe there is a problem around there?

Re: More problems!

The needle is free to move and the hazard switch is fine as I wouldn't get any external indicators. I have checked all the fuses and I'm still clueless ](*,)

Cheers for the thoughts though bud.

Re: Speedo?

Hmmm, so I can buy a 160mph gauge that's drive driven and it will read the correct mph? I thought about that but wasn't too sure how the drive cable worked with the different clocks like in the windings of the needle coil or something.

Re: More problems!

Yeah the hazard light switch is fine as if it wasn't plugged in they wouldn't work at all. The exterior ones fit fine bud.

The needle hasnt been taken off and the needle doesn't catch the dial. I have tried all the usual items and just can't think as to why I have all these problems.

More problems!

I fit some speed hut dials a while ago but the speedo (mechanical) doesn't read correctly. It says I'm doing 0 until I get to around 60 then starts to go up? Also the same time the indicators on the dash stopped working but exterior wise they are fine. Also the motor for the washer jets has packed i...

Speedo?

I have a tubby rev1 with 110 on the clock and it's cable driven.

Is there any way I can fit different dials (180mph) and the dials clock up correctly?

It's not much of a problem just went on a friends airfield and it went off the clock and I just wondered What it will do.
