Re: Ebay '////MR2 TURBO 900bhp Drag Car////"
I have to say its a nice looking car.. Love the IC in rear bumper, that is sexy.. But im sorry.. £24,000 for an MR2, 9 second or not... You would have to be smoking crack to pay that money.. Especially considering its done "800" drag runs! and no dyno sheets, no drag slips, not even engine...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] GT28R for fast road car..
Just to clarify it was the gt28rs from ats that i was looking at not a gt28r, ATS say this turbo will support up to 400bhp but only show it making 260 at 17psi on the graph :-k What figures are people making on the TD06 on a rev 3? Is the revision still particularly relevant to power once you get in...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] GT28R for fast road car..
So many options, must say though from the KO dyno that gt28r is making less than a rev 3 ct20b... That seems a bit of a false economy... I know i said i wasnt chasing figures but at the moment i estimate im making around 300bhp, at 1.2 bar.. Its not quite enough though... I think i need around an ex...

[Mk2] [Turbo] GT28R for fast road car..
Going to go for the full rebuild this winter.. Been considering options and what i want from the finished result which is basically a VERY fast, reliable road car.. Bottom end is getting new bearings, rods, pistons, arp,s Its a rev 3 and the head has recently rebuilt so i figure this can just be swa...

Re: How good should the brakes be????
Am I the only one that really likes the stock brakes? I use an assortment of hire cars through work (the most recent traumatic experience being in a Peugeot 307sw), and without fail they all have over assisted brakes that feel like pressing the pedal on an arcade machine. I want long pedal travel, ...

Intake temp display ebay?? Any Good?
Looks like a decent bit of kit, any one tried one of these? Are they accurate? Only problem I could see is installing it so it dose not leak boost under pressure? :-k http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Air-Charge-Temperature-Gauge-Kit-Intercooler-Air-Intake-Turbo-Drift-FMIC-/150849426295?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehi...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Tablet pc in dash
So what can be done on this? Im thinking music, sat nav, rear view camera.... Could it be used to show vehicle info such as temps, tyre pressure, boost etc? I suppose the tablets are not really built for that..That I would definitely want though.. Been after a blitz I colour for ages but there serio...

Go over it with a wire brush attachment on a drill them a sisal mop and it will look good as new... Then you will probably get a good price... Why 2 vacuum lines??

Re: Mr2 rev3 turbo best and cheapest brake pads?
Just bought some crn discs with redstuff.. Heard good things about the redstuff but we shall see! Im also running around the 300bhp mark and i have experienced brake fade on some serious road blasting on the oem pads.. Looking forward to bedding them in and reporting the results.. I think the genera...

Re: Buckled SSRs :(
Definitely go for the full refurb you cant see in the pic but the paint is bubbled and flaking and the dishes are dull with a few scratches... Also i think i want a darker shade of gold... If its going to be done it needs to be done properly.. Never seen these wheels on a MR2 before so at least it w...

Fawheels do seem pretty good though and they are close which makes things easy.. Been looking at them on the car and feel they have to stay... http://i1126.pho...
