I was asked the other day if there were certain engines that are specifically TRD Tuned ? Is that actually the case or is it just my friend has seen an engine with a sticker on it
Both mine and my wife's car have these fitted, they are 1000 per cent better than standard, so nobody runs in the backend.....you cannot miss the light :-) at night they look great as you get the patter of the arms. Think ours were cheaper as they were supplied by our son-in-law who runs LED Depot ...
Quick update.. he went to look at the car, I drove him up there and he decided not to buy it ! I thought he was mad, so i spoke to the guy and bought it myself aftaer negotiating the price right down to a bargain price. Then my friend said, oh I wouldbuy it for that price.. I said tough, mine now lol...
it would have a ct26 as standard, although you can't reallt tell from the picture, looks like ct26 actuator pipes though. i would avoid any engine that has issues mate, go to gts chris for an engine :thumleft: :thumleft: I do know of GTS Chris and I know he supplies high quality, reliable engines. ...

Thank you, he is considering buying the car for the engine, but he was originally wanting a rev 3 engine. This has some issues under power, apparently it feels like it is starved of fuel somehow. He xcant decide if its worth the monmey basically at present.. Would this have a CT20 or a CT26 turbo as...

i would contact the police initially and report it.. then you can see what your neighbour has to say, but would be surprised if they covered the damage! Unless they are a very very nice neighbour. There must be a record or something of what or who has delivered to the house. Hope it gets sorted for ...
Im sorry kerry, is there really any need to quote dvla regulations? if ive stated that it will be rectified before the new owner purchases the car, this is a for sale thread after all. I posted the regulations prior to your statment that you intended to rectify the V5 prior to sale. Secondly, you w...
New DVLA Engine Conversion Rules Reciept of purchase from a garage,on headed paper confirming the engine number , size(cc) the fuel type for the reconditioned or replacement. If your existing engine has been converted i.e single turbo, written evidence on headed paper from the garage that carried ou...
It may well still be the same, but DVLA willl state the car cannot be on the road if the V5 is not correct and that will be the same situation with the police should they stop and check the car for any reason. In fact the police will sieze the car even if he has it insured as a V6. DVLA has its own ...
Car looks stunning :) For the record though, the V5 still only showing it as a 3sge means technically you will have any insurance claim voided, plus the police could class the car as uninsured if they realise it has a V6 engine. You will need to have a garage or the garage who did the conversion act...
