Re: Chris's new project.....Rev 5 n/a Updated progress.
Nice one.
If not it will be a custom rail I think. I never had any issues on single feed, but was running -10an. I think HKS are -6?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rebuild? terminally ill, vid included
Because you don't you don't know the cause of the failure.
Ringlands will score the bores, prob already have but why make it worse if you don't have too?
If it's det.... You will fook the head.
Just thinking if you want to rebuild.

Would you recon the HKS would bore out to take 14mm injectors?

You want a 106 lol.
You could damage the bores if you go kill it. Depends if you want oversize pistons or not.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rebuild? terminally ill, vid included
It looks like excessive piston blow by to me bud. Either ring land failure, or bad det thats killed the pistons. With that much smoke from the crank breather with the oil cap off, its prob fooked. The pipe from the rocker to manifold is there to allow the vac to pull crankcase pressure when driving....

Blown ring lands by look of that. I might have a spare Rev 3 engine up for sale soon if you decide to replace instead of repair.

I would imagine you need to remove the injector resister packs and re wire as required.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] mr2 n/a needs a turbo any advice for conversion??!!
The info you have got is b0ll0x to be fair.
You will need a full engine/rear clip at least. Easier to buy a turbo car to start with.
Love how it says screwdriver on that list, but no mention of any other tool

What do you mean by the captive nut?
Which ones? What do they hold on?
If the part is secure, and not able to fall off, it's pass and advise. Not a failure.

Re: Rear Lights
Yep, I made the mistake of fitting these years ago.
Utter crap is the only way I can describe them. Water ingress within 2 month. Standards refitted
As above, buy some rev 1/2 lamps and black tint them. DON'T waste your money on these!
