Re: Tyre recommendations (standard size)?

camskill.co.uk has been good for me plus they do plenty of tyre sizes. Personally I would use the opportunity of needing new tyres to upgrade to 15 inch alloys this would at least give you a wider range of tyres to choose from. Im currently running 195/50/15 iirc, with uniroyal rainsport 2 which are...

Re: Motorway cabin noise

Yeah it does get a bit loud at speeds 60+ turning the music up is your best bet! I have found opening the sunroof helps quite a lot! Only reason i can think of for this is it allows any air coming in the cabin to escape easier?? However I avoid opening the sunroof on the motorway as it certainly won...

Re: Best car mats

I think i would go for a set of the imoc mats if my originals had worn out. Seam good quality and made to fit the mk1 mr2. Check out the imoc sale section. I would post a link but aparrently i have not made enough posts yet

Re: threepenny bit wheels should I scrap them ?.

I recently upgraded to mk3 15 inch alloys and weighed in my original alloys and a set of aftermarket 15 inch ones (so 8 alloys in total) and got £65 not bad! If your original alloys are not in mint condition id say weigh them in and spend the money you get on the car. Much better than having them ar...

Re: Which Tyres

Just had a quick look then and couldnt find any sites selling the yoko NEOVA (LTS) finding any premium tyre in the 195/50/15R is not that easy. Managed to find the YOKOHAMA AD08 ADVAN NEOVA for £76 per corner: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m12b0s662p59628 I have however just bought a s...

Re: window wipers dont move

had exactly the same thing happen the other day. Basically the motor arm had detached itself from the wiper linkage. I managed to fix it with no parts needed. All you need to do is: remove the wiper relay (black box next to the wiper motor), undo the bolts to secure the wiper motor, then once the mo...

Which Tyres

Ok i found an old thread on which tyres where best for the mk1 mr2 with most people saying goodyear eagle f1 are the best tyre to go for. However i have searched the internet high and low and it seams as though goodyear no longer makes the tyre in that size hopefully someone will prove me wrong??? I...
