I just put my mr2 to bed and off to Canada saturday so wont be driving her for a year now.

I really like it, i would happly drive around in it. and agree iw would be a great track car.

Car is all working again after the new alternator bracket was fitted. i had lost a lot of coolent and had to top it up with 4 liters and re bleed as car was running crap. but all running fine now the revs are steady doesnt over heat. Sorted

Yeah I wish I had seen the second ones underneath before I attached it the the front one. Even if the bar was new it can't be very strong.

Yeah there's a secondary towing eye underneath, not much good to you now! Bad luck, those towing eyes on the bumper bar probably made sense when the cars were new and the bumper bars were intact but many have come a cropper since :pale: Cable tie stitches are a nice touch though! yeah it ripped through the first grove of belt so that will be replaced. i should get the new bracket tuesday so will find out if its done any damage once thats fitted.
