Surely with all this work this MR2 is worth £795?

If the car sells without 'em for £795 then they'll be offered for sale separately - RRP is around £180 each for the all vinyl models such as these, but I'll offer them for less obviously.

looks like all it needed was the tension on the accelerator cable sorting - much better now

Right. It's all done now and has been running perfectly the whole week: fitted new thermostat; rad cap; new radiator; new silicon hoses on the rad; and new temperature fan switch; and filled with Shell coolant.

Fan comes on now when left running. Top result.

I've taken a look at the radiator cap (mine has a yellow) decal - it's pretty perished on the rubber seal, so on your advice Fourveesix I'll replace that too. I'm not actual...
