Re: gran turismo
Hmm, maybe I'm doing something wrong. I did take off the traction control as I don't do 'bad aids' and I think you need it off anyway as otherwise you go nowhere. I found the other rallying events on the intermediate level on snow to be ridiculously easy and overtook the three cars in front. Like y...

Re: gran turismo
Has anyone had a go at the Loeb Special Event? Jeez. Took me loads of goes at the first gravel one. Eventually got a silver somehow. The next one round the Nordwand was something else. 6 seconds off bronze and it goes on for ever. Then there is Chamonix. Bloody hell! Err, I'll come back to that one...

Re: Running a MR2 in the winter
I have driven mine for about 5 years in all weathers with very little problems. Even drove it to France a couple of years ago to go snowboarding. The snow was quite deep but the snow chains on the rear helped alot, although steering wasn't great. Had the usual issues mentioned above, like the doors ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Twitchy Rear End
I had a similar problem with mine a couple of years ago and it turned out the tyres were on their way out. New set on them, balanced etc and everything was fine...until the tyres went again!

White MK2 T-bar - Reading
Saw a white t-bar mk2 at the kings meadow roundabout coming from Tescos at about 14:15 today. I was coming under the station bridge in my Dark Green Rev 3.
Couldn't stop as was late for work!

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Clear Tobelerone indicators.......
Hi Wolfie,
Clear Tobelerones turned up at the weekend and managed to survive the onslaught from the hound.
Will get round to fitting them once the clear front indicators are ordered and arrived. Bought some a year or so ago and on of the from reflectors fell out!

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Clutch slipping...... sometimes???
Mine is suffering from similar symptoms at the moment. Have enquired how much a new clutch is... £480 fitted :( Got the money for it from a few ebay auctions and am booking it in to be looked at. Hopefully they will tell me the clutch is ok and just needs minor work! Got the cambelt to do in the nex...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Overheating and no hot air from heater
Got the car back today. Thermostat changed and it seems ok.
Left it idle for about 10 mins after a 20 min run. Didn't overheat.
Next test will be when I drive home tonight whether the heater will heat up without moving first!

Ok. Sounds like they might be onto something then.
Don't want to let the girl go. Had her for almost 5 years now and she has been really reliable.
Really must get myself on some sort of part time mechanics course to learn how to do stuff myself.
Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated.

[Mk2] [NA] Overheating and no hot air from heater
Hi, First post and all that and the car is in the garage but looking for some advice. My 1994 G LTD rev 3 has been suffering lately. I noticed whilst sitting in traffic that the heater would start to blow cold air out but then blow hot when moving. Wasn't much of a problem as the summer was here so,...
