Re: 540cc rev 3+ injectors

The rail feeds the injector it doesn't matter how big the injector is if the rail cant feed it, trust me on this one.

you can bore out the rev2 rail to 8mm & feed from both ends, rev2 & 3 injector spscing on the heads are different so the rails are not interchangeable

Re: 540cc rev 3+ injectors

I think your all wrong guys,

The injectors will fit in both rails, but the rails will only fit on the heads they were made for.

The reason people bore out rev 2 rails when fitting rev 3 (or bigger) injectors is for increased flow volume, but this is only necessary with higher HP builds.

So a serious reply/observation. It seams to me that Peter cant turn from specialist to fool, even if it has taken many years. What I would say which might not please everyone is that over 15 years I've see the IMOC member turn from very clued up enthusiast/Racer/engineer/pioneer into plain enthusias...

rev 2 head

The rev3 had better cams and bigger injectors, this was the type of post that would have gotten a lot of response on here 10 years ago. From what I recall a lot of people thought the rev2 head gave a better power/torque curve, but the general thought was once you were above std cams & fueling an...

Re: CT26 vs. CT20 Turbo Support bracket

Good info! Not sure if I'd want to run without them personally. If it was absolutely fine without it then why would Toyota have bothered putting it there in the first place? Perhaps they over engineered it I dunno, ever heard of a log manifold cracking? You could apply that logic to half the mods d...
