Just taken off my comedy spoiler from when I bought the car. Got a nice standard one fitted. Now only got the front bumper to change. Buckled rear passenger wheel
Noticed a strange sound coming from the passenger rear wheel when turning around corners. Sounded like a grinding noise, metal on metal. Brake disc is slightly warped. Then bought some new tyres... ....the wheel has a terrible buckle in it!! Its been like that since I bought the car almost a y...

Re: using 95ron
..I had thought of that...that is, the amount of flames you would get, not using it.

Re: How to spit flames?
OK, unburnt fuel being ignited by the hot exhaust tips - thanks Mark. But it seems some people are saying that crap plugs make them pop, bang and flame, but others are saying new plugs make them pop et al. :-k Maybe its me, but I found less pop's while using Tesco 99ron compared to Shell optimax??? ...

How to spit flames?
Driving through a local estate t'other evening and arrive at a T junction (prior to this, may I add, I was engaging in a lot of flames and pops and the engine was warm). I pull out of the junction briskly in first and slowly change to 2nd, then where I would normally expect a 'pop'...... BAN...

will a uk front bumper fit a tubby?
..as above, and both are rev2. Seems stupid question, but there's always a small hitch, it seems. I'm taking my veilside front bumper off and replacing it back to standard.....why? its too low and the idiot who I bought the car off did a terrible job of fitting and 'smoothing' it in. =D>

Re: 17" and different tyres?
I ran 205s all round on my old MR2 when I first bought it  looked like rubber bands lol  soon had it sorted  Yes Red, I've got a friend with a 1.4 astra with some very nice alloys. as I'm currently obsessed with tyre sizes, I thought I'd have a look at his, 224/45 R17! I ha...

Re: 17" and different tyres?
Right, 215/40 front, and 235/40 rear. Will go and have a word with the local tyre fitting centre. He was scaptical at running 215's on the rears, saying that they'll rub the insides. He'll have kittens when I come telling him these sizes. Re: running 205's all around and it being a little hairy........
