I just drive down the street in 4th...low revs and just be sensible. In the country roads...its a different matter!!..I can ...

Re: Exhaust soot on my bumper...how to clean it off?
Thanks.
Its just had a service not long ago. Will have a check of my plugs though!
The exhaust also sits quite tucked into the bumper.

Exhaust soot on my bumper...how to clean it off?
As it says in the title! My rear bumper gets quite a bit of soot deposits from my exhaust. Its a BlueFlame..and yes, its fitted correctly. I use a cloth and elbow grease when washing my car with normal car detergent (AutoGlym). But, is there something anyone uses to ease it off any easier? Cheers, C...

Has anyone got this front bumper??
Pretty much as the title. I'm in the lookout for a bomex or standard front bumper with a lip, but I've seen these and like the look of them. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-MR2-SW20-FRONT-BUMPER-IMTMR2F002_W0QQitemZ320009899339QQihZ011QQcategoryZ72206QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Has anyone bought one from here...

Bomex front bumpers..side lights?
I've currently got a veilside bumper and wanna change it.
1. Do the 'side'lights e.g.the crystal ones on ebay, pass for forward pointing 'sidelights' required for mot?
2. Do I need front fog lights? (me thinks I don't really, as side/headlights will suffice).
Thanks in advance,
Chris.

Isn't that a temperature sensor in the cat?
..as in, the temperature in the cat is too high.
Can't remember off hand.

Re: rev2 vs celica vs prelude
TBH, I don't think he's going for a celica turbo.
I told him ages ago thats the one I would go for (haing the same engine as my tubby).
Ah well. Thanks for the continued input.
I am still toying with persuading him into getting a prelude...just so I can still beat him.

rev2 vs celica vs prelude
Sorry to pull your attention away from normal stuff and lead it into yet another 'vs' match up, but...... My friend has been after a 'fast car' ever since I bought my tubby. He has set his sights on a prelude, but recently, having sold his astra, he has also mentioned a celica. Thing is, his main go...

I've got an Apexi induction kit..love it.
Personally, If I was to get another exhaust it'd be and Apexi GT.
I've got a Blitz bov and its great. If I was getting another bov, would I get a Blitz or HKS??? ....don't know!

Its very well done.
Its much better than seeing a dashboard blanket spraypainted in bright green or something.
Nice and subtle and I love the way it fades to black - nice.
A from me!
