Re: Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?

I've had two MR2's previously and just picked up an absolute mint NA rev2. Tbh, the drop in power hasn't bothered me (yet) as it's so much cleaner and less played with than any of the turbos I have seen and spent the last 3 months looking for. The reliability of an NA is maybe something I appreciat...

Re: Pulled the trigger on a rev 3 Turbo....

Lovely car, welcome to MR2 ownership. I'd give Rogue a call if I were you as they're much nearer and highly recommended: http://www.roguesystems.co.uk/ :) I love SMG - it's my 2nd favourite colour on SW20s. I may be selling a single DIN Alpine CD/ipod/radio unit soon. Thank you - yes, I had heard t...

Re: Where have all the tubbys for sale gone?

In all seriousness, I was expecting to wait months to find the right one and I was expecting to have to travel some way for it. I didn't expect to find one in less than a week from starting to look properly! People look for different things in a car though, I wanted one as untouched as possible whic...

Re: Pulled the trigger on a rev 3 Turbo....

Ab wow, seen this on facebook, never realised who you were!! Looks amazing, must be my age but i think this is my new fave mr2 colour!! Is it a carrozzeria stereo? My first mr2 came with one and i loved it!! I've not had chance to look into it much, looks to be Toyota standard but here's a photo: h...

Re: Pulled the trigger on a rev 3 Turbo....

New aerial - maybe fix original or replace with something else Congratulations on the new motor :thumleft: Can you hear the aerial motor turning? There is a how to guide to fixing the stock aerial here http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/know-your-2-knowledge-base/mr2-mk3.html?kbartid=138 Or you could do what I...

Will sort some tomorrow :) The advert has now gone and the other pics I have access to from the seller are not mine, so don't want to post the link to those.

I've just started a project thread:

Pulled the trigger on a rev 3 Turbo....

Well, today has been a good day :) Leicester Tigers won, Leicester City won and I went on a road trip with my hubby and brought home a new toy! First car we viewed, which may turn out to be a bad thing, but to be honest, I think we did ok... Now it's time to make a list of what needs doing! It's a 1...

Re: Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?

How much is about right for a 1995 turbo t-bar that's in very nice physical condition, unmolested engine but needs cam belt and probably clutch changes? Owner says clutch is fine, but wanted me to know it's still the original... he said the cam belt needs changing in 12k miles, but I would look to g...

Re: Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?

It's worth holding out for a good one, they differ hugely in condition and price. I know it sounds sappy but you'll know when you've found the right one! I looked around for months for a decent Rev 3+ Turbo at a sensible price and even bought another car in the meantime to keep me entertained. I kn...

Re: Do I want a rev 4 turbo t-bar?

Is a UK rev 5 with turbo conversion a bad idea?

Are there any reputable guys who do those conversions or are they all "home grown"?

Thanks :) it's a 1969 VW camper, so pretty small in camper terms!
