if serviced and looked after religeously these engines can go on for over 200k.. I knew someone one the gt4 owners club that bought his car new and after 13 yearsit had done nearly 250k then engine was still the original fitted by toyota, he had been servicing the car ,had cam belts etc done on time...

motor is needing replaceing.. mine was fine on slow and intermittent setting but if I switched to fast wipe , it would be slower than the slowest setting and then stop..
replaced motor and seems to have cured it..

check the connector on top of the speedo sender on the gearbox, it is know to collect water and connections perish and cause the same results, had that on my celica, also if its an import, then check behind the clocks for a converter chip, a loose wire can cause same too

have you tried adjusting the dimmer, is only 4x 501 bulbs behind the clocks..
or you could get some 501 type led bulbs of ebay and have a result kind of like so..

it seems you have a import speedo with the 120mph facia fitted onto the 180kph clocks.. now question is are you changing the whole unit or just the clock facia.. if its a rev 1 then its cable driven speedo, so you might struggle fitting the 180mph clock.. but if its a rev2 upwards and the speedo is ...

if you want to achieve it on n/a base then yes a Beams engine is 200bhp stock, or you could go the v6 route , but otherwise pretty limited on a n/a ,

replacing the exhausts on a stock car for a larger free flowing one doesnt actually ad any performance, you lose back pressure and gain noise.. if weight saving is the venture then lose the big heavy back box and replace with some lighter smaller ones, will sure sound different... more free flowing ...

possibly signs of alternator getting weak , and getting ready to call it quits, or possibly the battery is on its way out..

some of the clifford range are listed as Cat 1 even tho they have remote start,. with regards to safety, the doors remain locked with the clifford whilst its remote started.. and you can not leave the car in gear if it has been installed properly... You have to setup the car for remote start everyti...

can you lock and unlock the doors using the switch on the drivers door.. if yes then its a wiring issue.. if no then its possibly the mechanism at fault..

no need for extra relays or motors, wire directly to stock central locking control module and both doors will lock unlock, so all u need as a RCL kit or alarm with RCL

the gold Tein top mounts are sold to go with your own choice of shock,
the green ones generally come with tein coilovers when you buy the complete kit.
the green ones can be edfc compatible but I dont think the gold ones are
