I use the Pagid plain discs, great and fairly cheap. Last set was from Halfords with a trade card, but before that used eurocarparts for the same items.
£130 isn't too bad. Think the Halford offering with the trade card was about 110.

It's probably a gummed up actuator/cam gear. There are some good youtube vids on the topic.

some of the plastic is attached to the loom so the whole loom part needs to move with it as it's lifted out. That caught me out while I was trying to hold the loom and pull up the plastic.

you don't have the AC turned on in the car do you?

there must be another trigger, as it's the sensor in the frunk, not being there that sets the system off with all fans blowing.

I'm just trying to think what else might cause this.. I'll have a poke at the diagram for you.

real easy fix. Either leave the sensor on the loom in the frunk or bridge the 2 pins with some wire. you don't have to bridge the sensor, it's the plug on the loom that needs bridging.
