Re: Do genuine rev5 turbos have thicker blocks?

I take it 5sfe blocks are still safer for handling lots of power compared to rev5 3sgte ones right?

Re: Sourcing 98+ 5sfe block - very easy or something I'm missing?

Thank you all for the responses! So then the strong 98+ blocks with the thicker walls are actually in UK models too - that's good! P.s you could import a bare block for 400-500 from the states. Androo007 do you have any link to point me to for the US imports? 400-500 would be inclusive of import dut...

Sourcing 98+ 5sfe block - very easy or something I'm missing?

Hi, I'm on the lookout for a 5sfe block to get a 5sgte build underway and all I know is that it has to be a post 1998 2.2 for best results. So is it as easy as getting something like this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201510197983781?model=CAMRY&sort=price-asc&onesearchad=Use...

Stagger 20mm vs 30mm

Hey guys, I'm looking for some feedback from anyone that has gone from a 215f/235r to 215f/245r setup. How (if) has your handling changed? Theoretically, more understeer but I want to hear some real life feedback! In my 16 years of MR2 ownership I was always on 20mm stagger and have learnt to live w...

Re: Power Steering

Hmm…I’d be very interested to know your findings.

I have an intermittent p/s on/off issue and just realised that as long as I hear that whining noise p/s works fine but after a little while that it stops my p/s goes off.

Reaching out to drifting experts!

Hey guys After a lot of amateur sliding around I’m determined to head to a place where I can get some professional tuition on doing this properly! I want to be able to apply what I learnt to my mr2 but all the places I’ve seen use only FR cars…and no I don’t want to learn on mine! So what do you thi...

A Big thank you and Bravo to Luke; for fixing a long list of “small to bother – nightmare to fix” electrical (and not only) issues that annoyed my perfection oriented mind, for reviving my lost power and giving me back my 330bhp, for achieving an outstanding finish in customising and fitting some bo...
