I enjoy looking at the pics to be fair. Curious why he's blocked off the cam cover breather though? I know there's after one over the other side but with the predicted power think I'd have left that one and welded on a -10 fitting to run braided lines to the catch can.

Depends how its set up. I have a 10" jbl sub in mind but I've set it so it fills the low end but doesn't detract from the kids/ treble.

What sort of temps, assuming 20+deg ambient and a fairly hard sustained flogging. Also what boost etc?

Like you say if its 80hp down on what you thought then it should be a monster with the correct engine. I agree. These cars arnt about power...

how much does a MK2 dash go for and anyone got one?
as above really, condition not too important as i need it as a base for some mods i have planned. so it will either be discarded when done or recovered and used.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] aftermarket intercooler heat issue
Hi chaps. Havent ran one of these ebay side mount intercoolers before. Bit worried about the heat its passing on. The cooler itself is set up on the shroud and sits nicely. But the outlet pipe to the engine inlet is too hot to touch after a run out. As that is the cool side I expected better. Std c...

Re: BMIC (Boot Mount Intercooler)
plus water/meth runs out where as an intercooler, no matter how inefficient, doesnt.
using meth only on a track car is fine but never on a road car that does any sort of milage.
