I tried that one the other evening... Gahh, the power understeer in standard setup is terrible!!!! bet it's quick once it's sorted though.

Bear in mind that I only got S1 a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't really played with the other cars yet - so I'm much better with the GT than the GTT, or any of the S1 cars (although I have unlocked them all).

imoc_5_6.mpr is the incident one - think it was a racing incident, I picked to go left, your tankslapper then pushed you left... (7:05 onwards).

grrr - I'll check the replay this evening, and post some links. Some really good racing, usually involving a quicker person getting out of posistion and then racing back through the field. The incident in question was a good race, with me chasing down CJB, before he half spun right in front of me on...

Saw that over the weekend, then thought about upgrading my graphics card so that when S2 does come out, it'll look like that... then remembered that would necessitate a new mobo, then remembered a new mobo would mean a new case....

thankfully Feb is the shortest month of the year...

Another vote for the potenzas - stonking amount of traction (when scrubbed in) in the wet, more than enough to go sailing past Caterhams/Elises when they are tip-toeing around in the wet :) Not the best for trackdays, since when they let go, it's pretty much too late to catch it, but certainly bette...

Was some good close racing though, I went back to standard setup for much oversteering/lockup fun, and I tried CJBs setup, which seemed to bounce around everywhere

I'll post the replay files I have later.

5 laps with Speedy breathing down your neck are not that relaxing!

- Braking for the hairpin can be tricky.....

I've also got the replay from that one - what you don't see in that video is that Brian (in a tubby) drops it on the exit from the chicane (about 10 seconds later), scattering the following cars..

Has it been apart before (i.e been torqued up and relaxed, then torqued up again)? - because necking is usually associated with fatigue, like you say, the bolts could just be use-once item.

I'm 6'3 and the only problem is with headroom while wearing helmet, otherwise there is enough room.

heh - not me though, I only fall off at higher speeds than that. Didn't say it handles great, just that it feels good. It does have 20odd year old suspension, so it's never going to handle brilliant
