Re: 91 rev 1 na glimited "super edition" value?

Seems to only be on glimited cars. I can only assume its a trim spec. Has full leather seats, air con etc other than that its a sticker on the door  Oh and steering fogs ha ha I have seen pictures and possibly one of those cars before in the flesh, but a true 'rarity' if there ever was one.

Re: PETER GIDDEN, the "SPECIALIST". :(

Reading this through on many different platforms - Chris, you really haven't done yourself any favours - it reads a bit like you have paid the mechanic around half of what was due, have had problems with the install, will not allow the mech to rectify any faults, now seek to 'take X away from the ou...

Re: Starting a car after 5 years stood..

Cheers for reply. It was more of a case of the initial start up I was enquiring about. I was told that i'd need to crank it a few times before starting but wasnt sure what they meant by that. By that I would imagine they meant to disable ignition - then turn the car over so it can pump fuel, oil an...

Properly staggered 16"s 7/8JJ all day long with Toyo Proxes T1R. 205/45 or 50 fronts & 225/45 rears. The only reason you would voluntarily use T1Rs is if you were sticking with the stock 15” wheels. Good tyre fifteen years ago. Tyre tech moved along quite some way now. T1R's in our size fo...

Honestly, if you are struggling with this simple task you either don't have the right skills or tools. It maybe an idea to stop now before you get in too deep and the frustration grows further and your car becomes immobile. need to expand your tool kit. housing, either need some long thin sockets a...

They may have been way overinflated, that or hitting something under the car to cause them to blow. Can't imagine that would have been a nice experience.

Ok so as it stands I've got 4 good (but a few year old) 215/40/17 tyres. How much difference is there just staggering the tyres? Could doing this in the past have contributed to my two rear wheel blowouts in 2 weeks? . When you say 'a few year old' how old exactly do you mean? The date of manufactu...

Re: Rev2 turbo thermostat replacement - help needed!

Yeah, it's got AC which I want to keep. I'm after a set of damaged nut/bolt removers, one of the exhaust manifold shield bolts came out ok but the others don't want to play. That and the oil filter coming off may give me a bit more room to move. The engine sounds great but the 'oil' thats in there, ...
