Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Why do mr2 calipers stick?

2 pins allow the sliding fist caliper to move, these are what stick. I've experienced sticking brakes a lot of cars with a similar age to a mk2 mr2, best way to combat it is greasing these pins up and regularly taking the units apart and putting them together again. Mind like I've owned a lot of car...

Look under the engine cover lid, should be a sticker with the engine type.

Stop being gay and get a real one. Jap cars are jap, functional soulless. Italian cars are italian, full of soul but will breakdown. There is no best of bother worlds! (unless you buy a british sports car)

Re: Ferrari replicas? WHY?

Why not just spend the money you wasted on a replica and get a proper car, like an Exige. Better looking, better performance in every way and its real. Or why not just man up and get a real ferrari....? Are the ferrari replicas middle aged versions of these speed demons: http://i22.photobucket.com/a...

Re: URGENT ANSWERS NEEDED

usually handbrake light being on shows the brake fluid as low, check that, easy to do. If not might be the switch under the handbrake is jammed.

Good idea there's a bit of a whistle on part throttle coming from the throttle body. Going to get my hands dirty with it this weekend!

Sorry, here's the graphs: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/JohnRamsay/DSCF9641.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/JohnRamsay/DSCF9642.jpg Not read the fault codes. Re: Running Rich and only 146hp :(

I think the engine running at an AFR of 12:1 up to 5,000rpm and then dropping to 6/7:1 above 5,500rpm has more to do with it! I'll get the graph up when I get home.

Re: Running Rich and only 146hp :(

The fueling isn't right though so its not age that bringing the power down its the fact it isn't runner properly. Admittedly its not a lot but with the air:fuel ratio right I'd imagine it'd pull factory power. Engines don't lose power because they're old they lose power because things go wrong. My m...

Running Rich and only 146hp :(

Hi guys, Got my car RR'd yesterday and its down on power. It's an NA so rated at 158hp. The air:fuel ratio is down at 12:1 which seems rich, would've expected it at 13-13.5:1. Anyone got any ideas of where to look? Any particular sensors that will cause it to run rich? It makes an interesting suckin...

Half price through the uni. Result! 300 quid for a brand new LSD, bargain.

Now just need some suspension!

That video cracked me up, for some reason a crazy jap girl talking about how she can't donut properly cracked me up.

Hopefully in the next 2 weeks I'll be putting some money down on a new suspension system, if I've got enough funds I'll get an LSD too!

Re: What is your favourite 'quirky' thing on your MR2?

Having a K reg car with electric folding wing mirrors. Love racking up in Sainsburys and some woman gets out their 50k X5 folds in the wing mirrors herself, I pull in push a button, yes, she's jealous. I love the headlights too, flashing people out of junctions is all of a sudden an event! Also the ...
