Just thought I'd post a quick update guys. Ended up taking the car to luke at Pacific works. Was a huge help and ran some tests on multiple components. The blow of valve is definitely nakered. The Boost was adjusted to take it up to a healthy number so now I just need to get a replacement bof. Time...

I have to ask the question. The Blitz ECU. Does it really make much of a difference? I know it removes most of the factory limiters and raised the boost but wouldn't you achieve similar power gains just by upping the boost anyway? I changed mine for poly ones and cured the problem .. some use skate bearings , id steer clear of them there very notchy

Because unless his car has undergone massive surgery on the fronts, those wheels won't fit a MK2. Plus, the 235 tyres on the rear and the 215s on the front would look mega stretched.
