Re: New Tyres and wheels - Stagger

Sounds like they will fit mine are ET38 and fit but I would go for 195 on the front rather than 205's. Oh and your spot on its 4X100 same as the MK1

Re: Mk1 roof repair guide

Nice write up But I tend to use lead before the first coat of filler and etch primer the bare metal surfaces after the filler has been sanded. You cannot beat spray on filler but you have to make sure its cured well so it doesn't sink into the scratches left by sanding. Nice job though Paul. Wher I ...

If you use it on the rear you will have to read the scale backwards ie negative becomes positive and just use it the same as doing the front but pretending the back of the car is the front.

Re: Going to buy a facelift MK3

I tried to sell my Silver SMT 03 plate 78000 miles with leather etc it was mint and the SMT worked fine but couldn't sell it until I dropped the price to £1900. Normal obd2 readers wont read the SMT ECU but if you get Toyota techstream it will read everything. Theres really not a lot to go wrong wit...

If your car has the style roll bar fitted you can easily sell it for around £200 they are only there for looks and wouldn't save you if you rolled over

What good will that do?

Compression tests do not highlight HG failures on Mr2s.

That's surprising

It would if you used it as a leak tester but that be a little to tech for the common mad Paul
