Re: [Mk2] [Generic] DIY Projector lens retrofit into H6054/7x6/MR2 headlight housing
Oh really? They're very bright in that case, nice. I don't yet buddy. Still have to man up and separate the rear lens from housing which is the scary bit. I've done headlights before, but I've heard the rears are quite brittle. Might try and tackle it this weekend, even just to get some measurements...

Morimoto XSBs?
Love them. Lighting is so interesting and you can drop 100s of hours into research into it. I'm currently planning an Audi style rear mini-lightbar for inside the rear lights that follows the curvature of the lens.
Loving your work dude

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] DIY Projector lens retrofit into H6054/7x6/MR2 headlight housing
Amazing. Always wondered if someone would take the plunge and do a proper retrofit. I'm considering it if I can get my hands on a Rev 6 bumper at a decent price. I've read nothing but great things about the Morimoto kits, especially the mini. and that CUT-OFF! PLEASE post up ongoing pics, can't wait...

Something like this:

Good idea. Something that would make me wary would be the sound quality, but if you're not that bothered, could be good

This conversation is always good!
Some are for, some are against. Good points made in both camps it seems. Personally, I will be going BOV-less, but to each his/her own.

Re: [FINALIZED] C-West Rear Spats
Sure, PM me your address and I should be able to get one chief.
I have a Kakimoto. The exhaust tip goes right over and almost touches the side of the bumper in stock form, so this won't fit. It might after some fettling at a bodyshop, but mind is made up now!

Shifting these as they won't fit with my exhaust. Slightly devastated as they are my favourite style of rear spat. http://i.imgur.com/htnWL2o.jpg http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/4605/mr222222.jpg Top pic is actual item, bottom pic is an example of fitment. Genuine Toyota Rear Mud Flaps
Took these off as I'm getting a TOMs rear bumper and won't need them. They're from an import Rev 5 so are in good condition, with some stone chipping from the very bottom. Will come with all screws and bolts necessary to attach to yours. Just gave them a clean and wipe down in rubber restorer, and c...

Mine was engaging very low until I had it adjusted. Much nicer to drive after it.
If it isn't slipping, that's all that may be needed

Yeah, was a big of these. My one had the baffles in alright! Guess I'll just wait for one of these or a Berk to pop up for sale!

HKS Super Dragger Exhaust - Turbo
Can these still be found?
I had one on a previous 2 and loved the thing. For me, it was the perfect zaust; slightly deeper than stock, no drone at motorway speeds and looks the business.
Better yet, does anyone have one they would part with?!

Re: Turbo Technics Rebuild/Upgrade thoughts?
Was thinking it would be something like that.
GT28 means new piping etc though, right? If its not possible, not too bothered, just want to make sure. Im just after torque and spool

Do people think anywhere close to 340 is possible on a CT20 on a rev 5?

Re: Turbo Technics Rebuild/Upgrade thoughts?
I meant more in terms of nothing wrong with improving on a 20 year old design with modern upgrades such as the steel shaft and 360 bearing.
Red, was that at the fly or wheels? Your setup sounds similar enough to mine and goal is the same.

Re: Turbo Technics Rebuild/Upgrade thoughts?
True, but its design is over 20 years old at this stage! So, I'm seeing that staying away from TT seems to be the thing. A few other suggestions out there. I have little interest in upgrading to a different turbo setup which is why I wanted to stay with a CT20 mount/piping. If it's faster spool and ...
