DC2/EK9 Recaros in MK2 MR2 - With Pictures

I posted my car up a few weeks ago and people were asking me how the Recaros fit in. Unfortunately I don't have any images of the rails up close but here are some of how they sit in the car.

Re: Alternator Tensioner!

Hey dude,

Thanks for that. I know they are pretty easy to get a hold of on eBay, I just thought I'd pay the extra and try and buy one new. Especially if it's not going to be super expensive.

I'll give Toyota a call in the morning.

Alternator Tensioner!

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if they still sell these new at Toyota and if so, do you have a part number?

My bolt is mega bent.

This is what I'm looking for.

Re: Seats for both daily and occasional track use?

Unfortunately i didn't do any sort of write up on it sorry. As far as I can remember we basically had to drill 4 holes for the seats to screw into then one of the base mounts needed removed and rotated ever so slightly.

I'll try and get some pictures when the weather gets nice again!

Re: Seats for both daily and occasional track use?

It's got to be these bad boys! My all time favourite seats, look great and hold you in place.

DC2/EK9 Recaros

Go on the standard rails with some slight modifications also!

Boss kit returned, really struggling to find one with a guaranteed fit around this bloody connector!

I don't want to cut it off, so does anyone know of any boss kits that have the hole to accommodate this connector?

Re: 1995 NA Boss Kit Issue - Please Help!

Thanks dude, I thought this might have been the case. It was bought on eBay, so I don't know if it's worth the hassle being a used purchase.

Thank you for the info though!

1995 NA Boss Kit Issue - Please Help!

Hey guys, I purchased a boss kit that I was assured come off a rev3. Finally went to fit it today and on taking the standard wheel off i've realised there is a clip that sticks out for the horn wire to connect to. Looking at tutorials online people seem to be using boss kits that have a hole in plac...

A good boss kit?

Hey guys, I've got a new wheel coming and i'm looking for a good boss kit for it. Car is a rev 3 and the wheel pcd is that of a Momo. The car doesn't have an airbag as far as I know (steering wheel seems too thin and doesn't say airbag) I usually just buy the cheapest I can find and it always ends u...

I dunno, I still think just having a diffuser will look a lot better.

Turbo engine lid on NA

Hey guys,

Can you tell me if the turbo engine lid slots straight onto an NA?

I'm looking for a white one to go on my NA.

Thanks!

Re: Just for the fun of it..

I found this one also, the wheels look a bit sunk in, that's with 25mm spacers on the back and 5mm up front. In person it doesn't seem to look so bad. Back could probably do with 30mm though and 10 up front.

Re: Just for the fun of it..

The back is just waiting for a rear diffuser. I do have the border spats but i'm not that into them.

I'll get some more pictures posted up soon.

MOT take 2 today, hopefully the car isn't too low again.

Re: Just for the fun of it..

It's on a sloped drive way, It's also 17x8 at the back and 16x7 at the front, so it has a kind of dragster look to it.

Re: Just for the fun of it..

The only thing photoshopped is the sky, everything else is as it is.

MOT didn't go too well, they couldn't fit their equipment under the car! I guess I'll need to try somewhere else now :(
