Re: 1000 (ish) milies, 3 Countries, 16 counties, 1997 Mk2 Rev 5 G-limited Beams
Personally i hate seeing hoses that just dont look like factory in the pumper, solution get my own reinforced hoses made. I made one jig but its actually 2 hoses in and out of the radiator to save money. http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/9337/dscf6428l.jpg http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/4407/ds...

Re: 1000 (ish) milies, 3 Countries, 16 counties, 1997 Mk2 Rev 5 G-limited Beams
Ok now back to the intercooler set up. I bought one of the radiators from Rogue, it was dear at the time but mainly due to the AUD. I turned it around as the A/C pipes are different over here and made a few custom bits for the mounting. THE BRACKETS http://img693.imageshack.us/img693/7866/dscf5878.j...

Re: 1000 (ish) milies, 3 Countries, 16 counties, 1997 Mk2 Rev 5 G-limited Beams
FYI the Rotrex SC is of my car. There were numerous reasons why i went the SC route and especially the Rotrex. The Beams engine loves to rev and by design the SC is belt driven and the more you rev the more the power. Its very linear so absolutely behaves like a N/A engine. Awsome throttle response....

Re: [All] [Turbo] Radtec Chargecooler limits
I've been told by the manufacturers and re-sellers that they are good for up to 500hp, talking to some of the other specialists I think they start to struggle over 400hp. For 500 - 600hp I'd say you definately want a bigger core :thumleft: +1 Dyno testing Simon's engine showed an upper limit of low...

The Bosch pump is small get a bigger pump Johnson M90.
With one inch lines even better.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Your cooling efficiency is going to be determined by your intercooler and where its mounted.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Black Top Beams Engine - Anybody fitted one?
Anyone got a pic of the front of the head of the BLACKTOP/ maybe it can be machined so as to use the running gear of the RED TOP.
There has to be enough aluminiium.
Adding VVTi to the exhaust will NOT foul in the MR2 engine bay
, its well clear.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: PRE RADIATOR
This is the bracket to hold the coolant for the A/W intercooler set up. I also put a bracket over the nipples that holds on the braket to eliminate any chance of bending. Also pics as it sits in my car. The shape of this 85 corolla water bottle is great :) http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/8598/dscf5...

Re: PRE RADIATOR
Here is a picture of the bottom of my car with the trays removed. Pretty busy under there with little room to add 2 19 mm aluminium/ copper pipes for my A/W set up. I could have run them outside the covers but dont like that idea, so the only option is to make new trays with a bump for the 2 pipes. ...
