Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Aeroware lip with stock body?
The first picture doesn't look to out of place, but it does have some small skirt extensions from under the car. Also the lower ride height helps visually but massively impractical. Just my 50p.

Re: Rev 3 gts project.
A bit of progress over the weekend, wheels arrived during the last few weeks along with some abflug replica arches and skirts and a crux poly front lip. Wheels, I ordered some rota grid drifts 9jx17 et 25 fronts and 9.5jx17 et 12 rears, these would apparently clear the struts using the wheel calcula...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Hks ssqv
Yeh that's what I thought, that much feedback they should be genuine.
Price is sickening though, but mine has stopped working properly, car has started fluttering. I tried a friends and it fixed the issue so when needs must.
Cheers

Hahaha that's a classic one, can't believe I did that, didn't even post late enough to use tiredness as an excuse.

Can anyone advise, does this look like a genuine item? It certainly appears to be priced as such.
Thanks in advance

Re: Rev 3 gts project.
Finally found my latest dyno plot. I can't say I've ever seen a 3sgte torque curve so flat (albeit quite low compared to power figure perhaps). I presume tinkering with the cams (by a professional) would yield a change and more torque but simply an increased peak torque which then tails off with rpm...

Re: Rev4 Turbo *mini photoshoot*
That's looking very cool and very clean, some serious engine bay envy, currently giving me the inspiration to get round to mine (one day). Out of interest the nut and Bolt set you've replaced, do you have the kit part number?

Re: Rev 3 gts project.
Long time with no updates so thought I'd have a post. Car went in for second mapping session in June, was meant to be a day trip but the day before the engine light came on and stated playing silly buggers so I had it trailered away. When I arrived error log was checked and reset with no apparent re...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Urgent help needed
By the fact the car now idles and runs it doesn't seem to be an idling issue. But anyway, it's getting trailered to tuners tomorrow as I just cba to get involved with it, life's too short and busy to mess about when someone with all the experience and knowledge can do it a lot quicker. Thanks for th...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Urgent help needed
Managed to get the car idling on its own without throttle input so I could look in the engine bay, and I noticed my Hks ssqv is blowing air at idle. Am I correct in thinking this could be the source of my problem? Aka a massive vacuum leak?
Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Urgent help needed
Yeh CEL. Tuner didn't know to hand the fault code so is looking into it. I have also posted on the link forum to get there input. I can check the error log as I have no laptop or usb harness. Just taking the symptoms into consideration in your experience/ opinion can the fault be narrowed down? aka ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Urgent help needed
As a follow on the the problem the engine management light flashes 5 times regardless of whether the diagnostic terminals are bridged? Anyone know what this means?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Urgent help needed
Car is meant to be going in for its final mapping session on Friday but true to these things testing our patience the car now won't idle, will turn on but to keep the engine running throttle input is required. With ignition on it shows engine warning light, so with diagnostic terminals bridged it sh...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Custom wheels
You'll be able to get genuine TE37 in those sizes, if your pockets are deep enough, the cheaper option would be rota grids which come in 17x9.5 et12 so could be made to work with spacers theres always some pretty manly sized wheels available in Japan, ive just imported a set of AME shallen in 18x9 ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Custom wheels
I've looked at Rotas grid drifts and v's and they're in the mixing pot as potentials but still not perfect solution, a) would require spacers b) dont come in 16's for even remotely the required widths and offsets I've also looked into te37-v's and average costs for just wheels before import duty and...
