sorry for hi-jacking your thread but Chris how much do you charge for a cambelt change? pm if you'd like Everything is based around our £47 per hour labour rate, its very hard to give an exact estimate without seeing the car first, due to the mk2s age now we often find previous mechanical bodgery t...

Speedo
Ok, so I've looked at the speedo and it only goes from 0 - 110 I'm guessing they might be the wrong one given that gtschris was asking if its a 160 or 180? Any one know what is usual for a rev3 na? Cheers. So what you have there is a 0-180 speedo that someone has stuck a 0-110mph face on top - this...

Yes, a tried and tested method! takes a bit of practice and a co-driver shouting out sat nav speeds pretty helpful.....

The sard's brand new are 90 delivered. Hence the 150 being top expensive! Its for to stage one my turbo, im not goin for massive power that the aeromotive is made for, im simply going for stage one so it doesnt need to be overly capable. far as i know the aero is capable of dealing with 500bhp? If ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Matching Speedo and speed sensor
I have an import rev 2 turbo track car that now has a rev3 NA engine and JDM gearbox. It has UK clocks (I assume - as the speedo is in Mph). The problem is that the speedo massively under reads - not too much of an issue for track use but just a tad frustrating. Does anyone know how I can get the r...

If you're going to upgrade your intercooler, save your pennies and buy a GReddy, Spearco or HKS unit - buy cheap, buy twice! I agree in principle, however most of those kits were discontinued 5~6 years back. Choice of a Greddy copy core new vs 10 year old grotty genuine Greddy core ..... i know wha...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Paddle clutches - which one to get?
After a paddle clutch for my Rev 2, preferably a 6 paddle as its for road use. Want to avoid the cheap ebay ones as I imagine they're not up to much. Was looking at the Helix one on Fensport, but they say it has to be used with the modified or uprated clutch cover and with a new bearing its over £4...

What is the life on a fidanza lightweight flywheel insert, I've brought a second hand flywheel and the insert looks barely worn but I'm not sure whether to just replace it for piece of mind Post a pic? Are you fitting a worn used clutch or have you invested in a good quality uprated new clutch kit?...

Ah sorry to hear about the flat mate  £40 sounds far cheaper than what I was expecting - how difficult a job is it to fit all locks? "Soo how does the drivers side driveshaft remove from the box?" NA just pulls out. Turbo pulls out after you take the big clip out the half shaft bearing carrier. "Also can I use rev 2 na driveshafts in the tubby box" No, you need turbo shafts and hubs with a E153 set.... email u...
