So I finally got around to replacing my aerial stalk, and now I have no power to the stereo. The dome fuse looks fine as does the radio fuse (top left 15a fuse in the footwell I believe?)
Checked behind the stereo and all looks ok, any ideas?

Re: Cold Running Issues
i can't say for certain what it is, but, i have just had my coil die on me, last year, cold weather didn't bother it, this year it's run like a total pig on cold mornings, i reckon the damp has been getting into then freezing, anyway, coil changed (£50 from my local motor factor, it's a blueprint o...

Cold Running Issues
This is a problem my Rev 2 Tubby has had for a while, now I'm using it more I need it sorted. In particularly cold weather, when started from cold the car feels as though its under-fuelling and knocking. If you apply the throttle the car doesn't respond, maybe just bucks and splutters. One the tempe...

Nexen N6000 front, N3000 rear. They came with the wheels and I thought they'd be awful but they were actually better than I expected.

Nice set of rims mate, wish I lived nearer. Thanks :thumleft: Yeah I really like them, I wanted the BBS LM look but my wallet dictated otherwise  . I was chuffed to bits when I found these, I've just been drawn down the OEM route recently so I stuck a set of standard 15s on. I'll probably miss...

*PRICE DROP* 17" Dotz Mugello Alloys for Sale
I bought these quite a while ago but only had them on the car for about a year if that. All 4 alloys are 17 x 8j with 215/40/17 tyres on the front and 235/40/17 on the rear. Front tyres have plenty of tread, the rears are still legal but will need replacing soon. The fronts rubbed slightly against m...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] What bhp would my rev2 turbo roughly be?
I will say it only once  If a rev3 is 240hp at 14psi, How can a rev2 be 270hp at 14psi. :-s My rev2 was hitting 250hp at 4800rpm running just 12psi  . Unfortunately it was running lean at the time so the operator quite rightly wouldn't rev it any higher and abandoned the run. That was ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Another Exhaust Thread......Sorry
I realise the subject of exhausts has been pretty much done to death, but please bear with me as my question is a little more specific. Ok, so, my Rev2 Tubby has a Blitz Nur Spec fitted. It's a good exhaust I know, free flowing, well built and light weight compared to the stock system. However, whil...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Overheating Under Load
After a rather "spirited" drive last weekend, the coolant temperature has started to increase immediately after moderate to heavy acceleration. I've topped up the coolant and bled a fair bit of air out of the system. I cant find any leaks and no signs of mayo in the usual places. So sympto...

Yep my old Dotz Mugellos in 17 x 8 guise rubbed against my Tein SuperStreets on the front. 3mm spacer sorted it.

Re: GT86
Erm not really, one was designed and built in the late 80s the other 20 years later, one would expect a fair amount of development and improvement in that time.
Besides, the SW20 has hydraulic power steering pressurised by an electric motor, thats not the same as electric power steering.

Re: rev3 best mod
The difference in horsepower isn't as great as you think. A healthy OEM revision 1/2 NA produced 158bhp. A healthy OEM Rev 3 173bhp. The Rev 4 dropped to 168bhp. All have pretty much identical straight line performance, a 0-60 around the 7.5 sec mark, and a top speed nudging 140mph. Even if your car...

Thanks gents, I'm picking up a clutch master cylinder seal kit from Mr T tomorrow so I'll ask for the filter whilst I'm there.

Oil Filters interchangeable between GT4 and MR2 Turbo?
As the title really. I usually order my filters online but dont really have the time to do so on this occasion.
If I buy an ST185 GT4 oil filter from Halfords/Unipart etc, will it fit my Rev 2 Turbo?
Thanks

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Clutch Pedal Dropping
Just checked the reservoir (to the right of the brake fluid reservoir I take it?) and the level seems fine. The fluid does look very dark and quite thick though, I assume it should look as fresh as my brake fluid. Couldn't see any signs of leaks. The seals slowly discolour the fluid as they get old...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Clutch Pedal Dropping
Hi guys, tried the search but nothing came up. After a recent rolling road session I've discovered that the clutch pedal drops to the point where the range of movement is only an inch or so. I have to stick my foot under the pedal and pop it back up to its correct position. It seems to do this if th...

Yeah there is an alternative, either posting a cheque or doing a bank transfer.
Cool, if you could PM me the details I'll happily transfer the funds
