Left it idling in a car park for 10 ...

Re: MR2 turbo wont boost over 10psi? misfires
Well touch-wood I fixed it just by taking it out for a blast.
left it on 10psi and took it for a spin then gradually turned the boost up to 15psi and its been fine. not a single misfire.
fingers crossed it holds up!

Check your last MOT certificate and associated print outs, mine has weight info from when they did the suspension tests I think.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 1.4 bar?
Fair play lol
The 1.4 was the higher end of the settings he was showing me. I think "normal use" was lower
Dont want to risk it going pop if i can help it so will make sure its at 1.2 (until I can afford forged stuff lol)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] 1.4 bar?
I have a rev3 turbo, recently purchased running 1.4 on an aftermarket turbo and has been mapped. What sort of BHP would this likely to be run? (Sorry I dont know the exact turbo, just wondering what the average is for this sort of boost really) Feels faster than my 320bhp skyline at least but can b...

Re: Pops and Bangs in cold weather
Well again the colder denser outside the exhaust means any flames will burn a bit easier and therefore bigger and brighter.. it all helps!
My old skyline used to shoot ridiculous flames in the cold.

Cold air = denser air = more boost = more flames!
