When you mention Ferodo - do you mean the FC308 or DS2500's?? Halfords sell the cheaper FC308's I think and they should be pretty cheap.Cheers DS2500s. Any recommendations for pads at all? I've used Mintex 1144 and Hawk Performance Black on my old race car - but that was half the weight of an MR2 Mintex should be good, or Ferodo. Go on then, enlighten me. Which way round do they go?
(The manifold to downpipe ring gaskets on my road car are FUBAR and need changing. Not a problem I came across with the rally car as it has a 4 branch manifold.)

You can buy DIY electroplating kits for under £100. Final colour of the plating depends on the passivating solution used. Can have silver, blued or yellow/gold finish. Search the internets or the bay of E.
