Good chance its your thermostat mate a common problem. Basically it doesnt close enough to keep the water up to temp when on the move. Only about £20 from toyota so might as well change it as you will need to bleed the system anyway.

Out of interest how restrictive is just the standard backbox when the rest is a full 3" system? Thats what l plan with mine anyway to keep the noise down.

Also the tail pipes are slighty larger on the turbo
