[Mk2] [Turbo] Boost Gauges. Paying for the name?
For example looking at apexi gauges they are £90+ new. My question is why? Would the gauge below get the job done and give an accurate reading? If so l know what im buying lol. Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev 1 temp guage problems
Good chance its your thermostat mate a common problem. Basically it doesnt close enough to keep the water up to temp when on the move. Only about £20 from toyota so might as well change it as you will need to bleed the system anyway.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Quietest Exhaust
Out of interest how restrictive is just the standard backbox when the rest is a full 3" system? Thats what l plan with mine anyway to keep the noise down.

Re: I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.......WRITE OFF!!!!!!!
I wrote my 2 off 3 weeks ago. Coming back from wales at night on a B road l came to a section of road that was under water doing 60mph. Shot me off the road into a ditch, hedge, sign post and a tree. I was just happy to be ok and belive me l loved the car to bits. Even the traffic cop said it was in...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo tuning steps?
Just got a rev3 tubby after driving a rev3 n/a for 18 months. Big difference lol and im loving the extra power. Mine is taoally standard apart from an apexi air filter. Thought it would be good to have a thread showing the steps you can take a tubby from standard and the resulting bhp. And any incre...

Re: Turbo mpg on track?
Now that l think about it even if the £80 l put in mine was £1 per litre that would give me 10.8 mpg to the 190 miles. To be fair though at mallory you are at WOT for alot of the track.

Turbo mpg on track?
In a recent track day my rev 3 n/a a burnt off £80 in 190 miles around mallory park. Now my engine is on 150K and l do 30K a year so when it does need replacing l thinking a turbo as you do lol. Now l know that on the road if you keep away from the boost they arnt really any worse than the n/a's. Bu...
