Re: How much for a 350bhp Turbo build these days?
You should be able to get a healthy Rev3 to 310+ with bolt ons for around £1500, maybe less. Do that then ask yourself if you're happy with the performance(which at that power level is fairly epic anyway), or if you really want to spend another £5k odd forging the engine, adding a bigger turbo, upg...

Re: How much for a 350bhp Turbo build these days?
Fair enough, that idea is out for the time being then. I did expect it to still be quite expensive but always good to know for sure. I don't want to spend much initially as I am just going to look for a cheap Rev 3 Turbo to tide me over til the end of the year and get started with track days if I do...

How much for a 350bhp Turbo build these days?
Just mulling some things over.... How much do the specialists tend to charge for this now? What are the parts involved, if you start with either Rev 3 or pre-Rev 3 turbo engines?

Re: Might give in and get another MR2......
How do you mean? If I did go V6, I'd need to know I could get it supercharged for a reasonable cost, so that would leave me looking at a 3vzfe wouldn't it?

Re: Might give in and get another MR2......
Has anything really moved the game on in the last couple of years with tuning? The V6 is becoming increasingly popular, I'm not starting a V6/Turbo debate at all #-o but just giving you an option to think about. Bags of torque on demand and a unique roar, it could be that something different you're...

Re: Might give in and get another MR2......
Cheers :) I do miss the last one. It died before its time and breaking it was a huge mistake. I wish I had realised what a big task that would go on to be. I do hope that I am able to build some bridges with the community if I do get another one. Rest assured, I won't try breaking a car every again!...

Might give in and get another MR2......
Going to sell the 535d soon and pay some stuff off I think. Got a wedding to pay for, so knocking a few hundred quid off the monthly bills makes sense. Been thinking about another MR2 Turbo for a while now.... I miss having a mid engined speed machine! Prices have really come down since I last had o...

Re: Folding mirrors
Shouldn't be the relay as the whole assembly worked on my car before I sent them to you
Does sound very weird though....... I can't think of any reason off the top of my head why one of them would suddenly stop.... Is everything definitely connected right?

Re: Best way to remove entire headlight assembly?
Look down the inside of the wing, you will find 2 bolts on each side holding bumper to the wing. BTW, no need to remove bumper to fit Rogue headlights. Just the front undertrays will do. Oh no, I know. I'm taking the whole lot out and the bumper has to come off anyway as it's being broken :t...

Best way to remove entire headlight assembly?
Hi folks, I need to get my entire headlight assembly out (which I have changed to Rogue quads) in one go, so that I can get them sent to my buyer in a manner he can just put the entire assembly straight onto his car. Can anybody direct me ont he best way of doing this? Would removing the front bumpe...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Need help ASAP! How do I remove the driver side driveshaft?
I'm at the stage where everything is unbolted, including the bracket that bolts to the block, that the shaft goes through. This still doesn't seem to be moving. Is there anything else I should do or is it really a case of just tugging at it til it gives?
Many thanks!
Many thanks!

Re: Well the TRD rep is home.....
Front and rear bumpers are off, wings are off and now separated from the bumper! Probably easier to link to my Flickr than post pics, as I have just uploaded almost 50! There's been a lot of filler used on the kit. The rear quarters look to have rivets all the way down the length of them. Not sure h...
