hiya guys and girls! i have just put a rev 3 engine into my rev one and, yes, i have lost where one of the pipes go. in between the throttle body and the inlet manifold there are 2 vacume pipes. one looks like a thimble with a nut at one end and the other is a heaxagonal bolt(if thats the right wat ...

The engine will drop straight in, but you will need the engine wiring loom, passenger side wiring loom (runs throught passenger footwell), and the ecu. everything else should be fine.

rip out the stock amps and hardwire the speakers (passivly to the headunit) this will stop the whining and (imo) make the system easier to upgrade in the future. + it stops you having to fart about with earth leads and suppressors etc!!

those are the correct sizes mate 205's on the rear will have you hedge bound before you know it!

i belive in the case of your girlfriends car it should (not 100% on that) be a straight swap but you will have to use the jap ecu. in the case of the rev 2 you will need the engine wiring loom for a rev3 engine (to bypass the transponder) ond a rev 4 passenger side loom. abs shouldnt be a problem as...

my 2 had the premium sound system before the guy who had it before me butcherd the wiring. i have a sub behind both seats (the stock subs) i have hardwired the rest of the speakers to run off the head unit and they sound good. my question is if i were to get a 2x50watt amp and run it to my stock sub...
