have you checked the wireing to the gauge and the sender. if its connected to something wrong it may not be able to get the full voltage to the gauge stopping it working above half dose it stay on or go off after the ignition is off?

im not sure but id presume its just one off those small push in bulbs like the sidelights. take one out and check so but leave one in so that you still have one light

what do you mean by loop back the other end? i have vented the pipe that comes out of the bulkhead into the airfilter and done the same as you on the throttlebody. isnt the one near the airfilter a vent for the fuel tank?

ok cheers for that mate ill give it a check, i found the voltages in the BGB and we are going to check the TPS tomorrow aswell. im hoping its something simple because im supposed to be going away for a couple of days on monday and its a fairly long drive

i was wondering if someone could post up the voltages that i should be getting from the TPS when its at idle. ive just finished putting my engine back in and its overfueling quite alot. this is going to be our first point of call too see if it is possitioned correctly.
