Re: Installing an airbag wheel - advise needed :)
Here are a couple of photos of the wheel. I have seen similar pics on a US forum, but they seem to have a massive yellow cable connecting to the airbag? Anyway - here you go: http://i810.photobucket.com/albums/zz28/LEMONYFRESHHH/15072011085.jpg http://i810.photobucket.com/albums/zz28/LEMONYFRESHHH/1...

Re: Installing an airbag wheel - advise needed :)
There isn't a light in my MR2 as far as i am aware? Or the rev 4 it came off of (as we checked on the day i gave walder a hand removing it) in regards to the install.... Is it simply a case of bolting it back together again? That massive pin bit that holds the airbag in place doesn't have to be a ce...

Re: Installing an airbag wheel - advise needed :)
not really - which is why i need to know if its better a garage installs the airbag or i do!
Ideally i need to make the car as stock as possible before i sell it on (sooner rather than later ) to get some money together for a deposit on a house.

Installing an airbag wheel - advise needed :)
Hi people, I have just picked up an airbag wheel from Walder (on here) after much fiddling about getting it off of the car! Now, the question is, how do i go about installing it on my Rev 5? I have a rev 3 steering wheel on at the mo (no airbag), and this is mainly due to the previous previous owner...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] change steering wheel mr2 rev 4
Hi Matey, Let me know if you have the airbag fitted (as you may remember i needed an airbag wheel!). If you are going to be keeping the wheel incase of future sale not to worry, but if you are going to be parting with it I MIGHT be interested :thumleft: I'm in two minds wether to buy an aftermarket ...

Re: Tapping noise after cold start
Finally I have a video of this noise (sorta). Excuse the crap quality as it was taken on my phone that I stuck to the top of the cubby box! the noise is more evident at the beginning of the clip when I change gear as the revs rise. it is a faint metallic sounding rattle that lasts less than 2 second...

After i start up from cold (car being left for a good 8 hours+ overnight) and accelerate down the road i have a tapping noise from what sounds like the top of the engine (not 100 per cent sure o...

Cool beans (well, not really because I haven't checked just yet!) - I'm sure it wont be anything major, as I haven't given it some beans in a while - just been mostly cruising etc.

Strange hesitation under acceleration (huh, that rhymes!)
hello people! My 2, probably because it knows i have to sell it soon, has developed a rather strange issue. When i put my foot down it seems to have a flat spot/strange judder during acceleration. The only problem is that it does not do this all the time, making it hard, for a novice with mechanical...
