Re: Lumpy running :(

Will do :thumleft: I think it might be the throttle cable/pedal being a bit slack/tired/sensitive? Or possibly a sticky brake caliper coupled with my hyperactive ABS system (probably due to a sticky caliper!), trouble is with this theory is that the brakes aren't glowing red hot after a long drive, ...

Lumpy running :(

No, its not a new sport for the fatties, it's a mildly annoying trait of my 2 at the moment. #-o The car seems fine most of the time, but occasionally when at lower-ish revs in 3rd of 4th gear (30-40mph) the car seems to run a bit... well.. "lumpy"! feels almost like someone is constantly ...

Re: Far too many problem posts on here recently, so..........

Cheers people! Racer7: Waxing does help, but the fine dust of the carpark (its pretty much just a field with no grass) just seems to stick to it all over. Mabye more noticeable because it's black. However, it does help when it comes to washing all the mud/ dust off afterwards! The products i use are...

Mabye they wanted something that sounds like it sould grace the backside of a clapped out old fiesta/ metro plastered on their MR2 to make it more "exclusive"

Either that or they are slightly mad..... =;

Re: New Alternator and Airbag wheel fitted..... BUT!

Hi Jason, pretty much what i thought tbh - the garage reckon it isn't connected, but the car it came off of was the same??? Surely if an airbag was standard fitting on the rev4/rev5 uk models it would be connected somehow? (unless the airbag wasn't an option on the list, but the airbag system was!! ...

try holding down both buttons on your keyfob for a few seconds (pointing at the cars of course!), this re-pairs the fob with your car - seemed to do the trick when mine went a bit loopy! :thumleft:

ARGH! ALTERNATOR! Help needed ASAP

Hi people,
I'm sure my alternator is on the way out as it is making some very "broken" noises now :S (almost like a shagged gearbox sound!)

Does anybody knwo a place that sells them at a decent price? as 230 quid from the garage is a joke! :pale:

On a purely cosmetic basis you could change those orange toblarones to flush fit units? (i have no issue with the tobes' myself, but most tend to get rid of them)

Re: Installing an airbag wheel - advise needed :)

Sorry about the crappy quality of the pictures - there is a white connector block that fits into the steering column ring, It has a black wire coming from it with green wires linking to the horn buttons. I can't see any connectors linking the airbag to it (unless they are hidden behind the metalwork...
