Re: ABS 'Boinging' spring noise

Omg.

If you have found out what causes this you can have my hand in marriage! I've had this issue for a while, and was abou to pay through the nose to get all the brakes overhauled and new disks etc.

- bows down -

I am NOT worthy.

Re: Black Rev3 NA - Milton Keynes

i reckon 235 will be alright. with 245 (like mine) i'd get the arches rolled. i will most probably be doing mine soon, as the tyres will rub over big bumps, and there seem to be far too many of them around here at the moment. Your 2 is going to look utter awesomeness if you are going for the look in...

Clutch squeal

Hello fellow IMOC-ers! If I am driving about slowly (as in 1-5mph) in a car park or something similar (speed bumps) my clutch has started making a very annoying squealing/squeaking noise. Could this be signalling the end? or is it something else? If it helps, I have the squeaky clutch pedal issue as...

Re: Changed my tubby for a Supra Aerotop

Looks awesome matey :thumleft:, but those headlight surrounds need to go! :silent:

Does the aerotop model have a space to put the roof when it's taken off? i.e in the boot or something? I saw an orange one around our way recently without the roof on, and it made me wonder (because I'm sad like that).

Re: Black Mk2 in Tring Museum car park today

Yeah, its locked in unless i move it out by a certain time. I'm not too fussed really, just stops it being nicked! :thumleft: Cheers for the comment on the wheels, they are a bit Marmite I think, love em or hate em! If I'm still here (moving house in a few weeks) it would be cool to see your rev5, b...

THAT'S ME!!!!!! :D :D :D I park my car in there all the time as i (currently) live in the house next to the museum :thumleft:. I had a good look at the Celica before i left to go out today, and i thought it looked a bit too clean not to be owned by an enthusiast! Thankfully my'2 is a bit cleaner tha...

Re: Rota wheels

I think they are a bit of both to be honest. I know my D1's are suposed to look (sort of) like work miesters, but they aren't trying to out and out fake another company's designs.

Re: Rota wheels

Yep, they are 17's. The offsets are ET35 all round and the rears will only rub over the biggest of bumps due to me fitting 245 tyres! Need the arches rolled really, but they hardly ever rub so haven't got round to it yet :P If I remember rightly the fronts are 7.5J and the rears are either 8.5J widt...

Re: Rota wheels

....... Like mine? :D take a look in my garage for a few "on car" pics.

I've found them to be pretty good tbh, ive had them 2 years now and the only bad point is that one of the lips is oxidising/corroding slightly. This is probably down to our salty roads at winter however :(
