Re: [FINALIZED] White Rev 3 GT T-Bar Turbo - £2250 ovno

If I wasn't replacing my "sensible" car by getting rid of both of them then a gt4 would have been an interesting swap :)

Thanks mate

Its taken just over 2 years to do but it does look good now - although the white interior may not be to everybody's taste!

Bright Yellow Mk1 - Bruce Highway Australia

Saw a mint looking bright yellow Mk1 t-bar on my way into Brisbane today.
Was 50Km north of Brisbane heading northwards on the Bruce highway.

I realise chances are its nobody on here but thought I would mention it as its the only one I have seen here so far.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Problem with ariel

Hi My ariel has developed a strange problem. Just recently I repaired it with a new mast as the nylon tread in the old one snapped. This has been working for a couple of months but yesterday the ariel has started to make a clicking noise when it is raised. When it gets to the top the motor no longer...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Wiring up amp genius needed!!!

Sorry if this is a bit of a late post.

I had the same problem with power steer noise, it was a bad earth on the amp. Re-earthed it which included sanding point off the point of contact and this has not 100% solved it but it is hardly noticeable.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Time for a new look - but need ideas

Hi all Had my tubby for a close to 2 years now and want to do something different with the front of it. When I bought it it had a Bomex bumper and a dent in the drivers wing. I thought the Bomex bumper didn't suit the car and got the wings and bumper of a Rev1 UK car. Being new to MR2's I didn't thi...

Alternator Noise

Hi - first of all sorry for the general vague-ness of this query. I'm getting a whine from the rear drivers side of my engine, which I think is alternator related. The whine is noticeable when idling and changes pitch when the revs are increased. I know its not much to go on, but does this sound lik...

What was in that Starlet?

I was going back home along the A702 on Sunday back and as usual there got stuck behind the usual collection of caravans, lorries and tractors. Strangest thing though, a battered looking Starlet was behind me at one point and when I went to overtake a caravan, this thing was glued to me. After the s...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Apexi AVCR Scramble Switch

Hi all

Thinking of fitting a scramble switch to my AVCR.

Has anybody done this? I take it it is worth doing?

Can you use any momentary push switch - got one from Maplin today?

Do you need to use the earth that the unit uses as described in the manual or can you use any earth?

Cheers guys

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Stero help

Hi mate It really depends on what system was fitted to the car originally. I have a 94 turbo import and found the wiring harness info on this site was spot on (it also contains a link to mr2oc.com that i registered for and was worthwhile doing) http://stephenmason.com/cars/mr2audio.html It could als...
