Re: [Mk2] [NA] removing fule pump
I'm sure thats how I did it when I fitted the Walbro last September. It bends a little but not too bad. If only I fitted it properly the first time, I wouldn't be pulling it apart now

Re: [Mk2] [NA] removing fule pump
Just access around the pipe work. I've got the heatshields off, there is a metal fuel pipe with a union nut on, this is seized, but I think I can get round this by unbolting the hard pipe from the fuel filter and removing the lot. It's proving difficult as I have an xspower downpipe with cat, so it'...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] removing fule pump
Whatever you do, don't attempt to drop the tank with the engine in place, what a pain in the ar$e! Still not out after 2.5 hours faffing around

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Turbo conversion, loom?
A couple of things I can think of though, bearing in mind I don't know the rev 1 wiring too well. Rev 1 will be cable driven speedo, rev 3 uk will be electronic. I guess you will need the speed sensor from a rev 3 gearbox. The fuel pump feed and speed sensor wires on the rev 3 uk runs up the centre ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Turbo conversion, loom?
The loom terminates in the passenger footwell, a couple of white multiplugs, and the main power cables, big white ones, bolt onto a distribution block

Re: [Mk2] [NA] removing fule pump
I fitted a rogue Motorsport pump in mine, although I can't review it too well, as mine has done very few miles. I trust rogue to use a half decent product, so I didn't mind giving it a go, if your unsure go with the name therefore Walbro

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Turbo conversion, loom?
The is no need to change the loom to footwell if your handy with a bit of wiring and splicing. I did mine as a rev 3 jdm turbo to rev 3 uk n/a, not too many wire to sort, but your will be different to mine. I must say I had a fair bit of help over the phone from Paul Woods (wood sport) top bloke and...

Failed fuel pump? Melted in tank wiring
It would appear my fuel pump has failed. I have been having problems with the car cutting out. Having pulled my centre console apart and checked the wiring, I'm getting voltage from the car loom but the pump seems to be lifeless, even when I supply it with a direct 12v feed. I did notice the other d...

Re: White mk1 Hatfield Tesco
I've seen the rev 5, cosmos blue driven by a blonde woman. Also seen a mica blue mk1 in old Hatfield. I drive past a black rev 2 on enkei split rims off wattling street on the way into Radlett everyday, seen a yellow rev 2 g limited in Watford a few times, plus a white rev 3, which I think is driven...
