Re: New Car Restoration Show for ITV Looking to Help [email protected]

The reply I had to my email was from someone called Jordan

He just said that he'd love to have a quick chat with me on the phone about my car

Quick chat :? I thought that was a rather odd thing to say

Re: Dizzy Talk

Here we are again  Another snipe endlessly at Peter & blame it all on Peter thread :? The sniping coming predominantly from one source All I wanted to know in the first place is whether there is a method of torqueing down the distributer on a Mk1 without taking the cap off Seems not then :-k

Re: Dizzy Talk

It's a distributor bolt. :| Would you torque up oil pump bolts? I'm umming and rrr-ing about that at the moment... Provided you know the correct setting & also provided your wrench is capable of being set down to a low enough setting, then the answer is simple YES :D You have gone off topic wit...

Some others may want to use their grannie's old Whitworth open ended :?:

Re: Dizzy Talk

If folk don't want to tighten nut/bolts with a torque wrench that's OK with me

It's up to the individual

Abusive personal comment is another matter altogether Alex [-X
