MR2 GTS Turbo (rev2) Huge spec!
Hi, the time has come to sell my MR2 Turbo. I've owned the car for just under 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed owning it. The car has had extensive work carried out to update the engine and chassis. I just had the car rolling road tested at power station in Tewksbury and it made 258BHP and 278ft/lbs o...

Re: Rev 2 Tubby - Oil temp sender in sump as standard?
ah wicked, cheers for the info. i'll try and trace the wire back and see where it leads too. its definitely the sump plug so i guess it must have, maybe when it was in japan... there is the faint outline of the marks left by a dash mounted gauge pod so that could explain it...

Rev 2 Tubby - Oil temp sender in sump as standard?
Hi All, Basically when I was changing my bushes last week I had a mooch around the underneath of my tubby. The sump plug appears to be standard but has wires coming out of it... i'm wondering if its an oil temp sender? the car doesn't have an aftermarket oil temp gauge so does the ecu need the readi...

Re: Rev2 Tubby Problem - Please help!!!
White smoke is deffo water, when your checking your hoses, with the engine running, just feel the water hoses and see if they feel really solid, sometimes when the gasket goes, you can pressurise the water system, and when you shut down, the water makes its way into the cylinder, hence the white sm...

I have a gt30 and for a bigger turbo the spool is great, full boost by 4000rpm, i'm seeing around 335 bhp with the boost controller off and she should see over 500bhp at 2 bar, i think i w...

I need to keep it useable so i'm not goin to go for a boot mount intercool...
