Re: [Mk3] [Turbo] Manual Boost Controller VS Electronic Boost Controller
what's your engine?? rev3?? fuel cut is 17psi(iirc) so you wouldn't need one if you we're running under that, i think the s-bits FCD only goes to 17psi anyway, so it'd be pointless lol, if you want this MBC hooked up and VSV disabled though i can help with that :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft: Aye ...

The groove just doesn't seem right. Either the ring is dodgy or the adaptor is dodgy :( Is there any ...

You have a front mount intercooler? far out dude 8) hehe it's for my GT4  but I thought I would ask here since it's basically the same engine :D I alrea...

My target boost will only be around factory levels, not planning going higher than 1.2bar. Would an EBC make a lot of difference from a MBC?
Any thoughts?

Re: running an evo / scooby
I don't personally own an EVO but I wanted one badly before MR2 so I did a lot of research on them. The running costs are expensive as you will need frequent oil changes, and I think the clutch and brake pads wears pretty easily too. The petrol consumption is pretty high too I would say even a littl...

Re: Help! HKS SSQV C ring...
How far in are you supposed to clip them together? Does the two heads have to touch in order to fit? not sure i follow you ?? therer should be a groove in the flange that the circlip fits into :-k Aye, having problems even fitting them in the groove mate. Just seems a bit off. The ring fits in the ...

Re: Help! HKS SSQV C ring...
Well I have some Samso reducer hose/pipe so I guess even with the flange on I can most probably buy a correct diameter pipe to fit it? Don't know... :-k The last bloke used a piece of ratchet bit/head to bridge the bov :p Some of the imitation ones are pretty good according to the blokes down at gt4...

Re: Help! HKS SSQV C ring...
I'm sure I have a spare circlip at my dads house, I know for a fact it fits, although when I think about it I got 2 with the valve and one was f@cking enormous! It was far too big! The smaller one fitted fine, i'll look it out when i'm down in dundee, possibly friday :thumleft: ok no problems mate ...

Help! HKS SSQV C ring...
I've bought a cheap SSQV BOV of ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280392390901&_trksid=p2759.l1259 ) and I am finding it impossible to attach the C ring into the flange thingy. I suspect the machining for the adaptor could be slightly off. The tool I am using is a p...

Re: Bad Company 2!!!
Well, I've been hearing how it's a MW2 beater etc etc. Downloaded it, what a crock. 20-30fps, looks terrible when turning around - I've been spoilt by the CoD series running at 60fps 8) Firing your gun doesn't quite 'feel' right, in the CoD series they've got this spot on, you can 'feel' the power ...

Re: Bad Company 2!!!
still some bugs to iron out for the PC platform. It seems that the main target for this game are consoles (Xbox/PS3) and most stuff for the PC is just a port
However, I think there are a few stuff reserved for PC version that is not in the Beta. Fingers crossed!

. ME! Been playing the demo a good amount over the past few days, and its great fun. I love the way conquest plays out and the map keeps moving. Plus I am awesome as sniper! The guns on the other classes are a bit poop at the moment I suspect its due to the Iron sights obscuring most to the ...
