bad contact then, if theres voltage to the bulb holder and a new bulb didnt work - i assume you tried the 'new' bulb in the other known working side, if so clean up the terminals

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rusty Arches - A concept
i will say though that properly fitted it would be fine, all mk4 golfs have them on the rear and they dont suffer from rusty arches, the oldest ones being 15 years old now, but why go to the trouble when its not really needed

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rusty Arches - A concept
you nod at them all you like
unless well fitted they might trap grime and silt from the road in places you dont want it so make the issue worse.
Id say get them done and keep the dirt free on the lip in the arch, if the moisture cannot sit anywhere it wont rust them out again

Re: Here we go again....
for the price you paid its obviously cheap, but unless you can weld well its going to cost a bit to sort them. You could have my rev2 turbo black tintop shell for £50 when im done stripping it, ill even leave the main loom/screen in it has a few parts patched on the sills but other than that its dec...

thats getting away from the point that its too good to break
either way they are/were both great cars it seems, and the buyer could do with it what he/she pleases
