There's 4. 1 either side and 1 front and back, its usually the front and back ones that go. The one at the cam belt side looks like right pita to change.
If your head unit is has a flip down front, you can probably fit it like mine Redrill the holes in the bracket so the the HU sits further back (don't use the cage that comes with the HU), then fit the surround back on so that it is in front of the HU. No need to cut it :D You can see it in this pic,...
Yes Mk3's with 195-50 F1's all round (at a great price from mytyres) Handling seems fine so far, much as before, with a bit more grip and a smoother ride, steering feels a bit lighter as well. Very pleased with them, I think they suit the MK1 really well.
If its the same as the MK1 yes a faulty sensor would cause the radiator fans to run continously. Don't know about the intercooler fan ? On the Mk1 the engine bay sensor controls the engine bay fan , intercooler would be a fair guess. I think I've got some MK2 diagrams somewhere I'll have a look. edi...
The earlier ECU's are different from the later ones, different fuel maps etc not sure if they are interchangeable. Later engine may not run properly with earlier ECU. There's an article on the MK1club site about the ECU's

Mk3 wheels up to 2002 (I think, the ones with 15" wheels front and back) will fit. Funnily enough I've got a set in my garage I'll be fitting next week I'll put some pics up when I've got them on.
Don't know about Celica wheels.
It's worth pointing out that ForLife (Long Life?) is premixed with nice clean distilled water as opposed to cruddy, lime-filled tap water. But if you use ethylene glycol-based coolant with the right volume of distilled water I can't see why there would be any difference! Jay Depends where you live ...
I get much the same thing, a judder (like warped discs) under heavy braking, but not all the time. I checked the run out on both disc's with a DTI and its only .002" on both, so its not the disc's. I've checked the wheel bearings and suspension and all seems OK. I'm running out of idea's, thoug...
Actually you can chrome aluminium, its just a bit more difficult than steel, you can even chrome plate plastic !! its all in the preparation and dips that you put the material through before you do the plating.
I don't think its been mentioned but early MR2 MK3 wheels fit ok (early ones were 15" all round 6.5 front and 7 rear, later ones are 16" rear and 15" front) same pcd and centre bore
