Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] how much bhp (estimate and any sugestions)
I would guess at around 280-90hp I suppose the next steps depend on the level of performance you want. A chargecooler is probably the next port of call really I think, which should see 300hp Sounds nice that mate

[Mk2] [Turbo] acceleration....slightly odd?
Hi guys a quick question, I have recently noticed that when accelerating relatively gently the engine doesn't feel smooth, the feeling is that the power delivery is slightly jerky. On full bore there doesn't appear to be a problem. Its a standard rev 3 and boost seems fine, makes 0.9 kg/cm2 which eq...

Re: scary noise...help needed
Hi mate, Could well be the ball joint, but if I were you I would check for play in the top mounts or as was the case with mine and still is the case until next Wednesday, the shock itself (if you have spring and shock setup). I have play between the strut and the strut housing and also the spring ha...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting XS-Power Motoria Style De-Cat Downpipe
Is the cat the biggest restriction to power in the exhaust i.e. will changing to a down pipe such as the xs power unit give the best bang for buck compared to changing the rest of the exhaust? BTW I'm looking for a TRD rear box if you ever get rid of it :-) Cool, well if I get sorted out with a new...

Re: A few hours, can of tint spray and some clear lacquer....voila!!
Good point about the reflectors, despite the tint, with a car behind the reflectors still function as they always did. Does anybody think the MOT will be an issue?
Could just get a couple of stick on reflectors for the test and I have to wire a fog light on for it anyway

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Air flow Converter?????
I have traced the four wires back from the unit in the footwell to the ECU in the boot, there is a live and a neutral/earth and then 2 signal wires going straight into the ECU #-o Ive thought that perhaps the MAP sensor is not working so there is a dodgy output from that into the ECU so the AFC is c...
